Mr. Monneret(?) did not come yesterday in spite of his promis. Will he come today? I was informed yesterday at 10 o'clock that our friend was better. I am going to check whether this improvement is holding. If it is so, we can skip Mr. Monneret, if not, you can count on me to badger him I wanted to inform you of the result of my visit and I hope that my silence did not worry you too much.
