Morello Tree One of my favourite subjects to paint is “fruits on the tree”. When I saw these extreem bright red cherries, I could not resist, I had to paint them. The tree was in Stazzema in the Apuan Alps, Toscany, Italy, where I often go to paint in the summer. The background is not the sky, but the mountains.
