"We are always working with live models. From the first sketches on paper, to the final pieces, teamwork is essential. Since the first modeling in clay to the final bronze's patina, we control the whole process of our pieces. Everything is relevant, because in the final piece the emotions experienced during the creative process are condensed.

The common idea that underlies the whole of our works is the human figure. To get to it, literature, poetry, theater, photography, film and ballet serve as our inspiration. Through a language that oscillates between allegories and free revisions of mythological and literary characters, we create pieces such as The Tissue of Time, our own vision of the Penelope myth that awaits—in a very smart way—the arrival of Ulysses raveling and unraveling, walking back and forth... The pure emotion woven by instants is our Penelope, with it we offer a part of our reflection about beauty, sensuality and stopped movement. Beyond the pedestal she stands, challenging time, looking at us with intriguing sensuality." – CODERCH AND MALAVIA SCULPTORS
