"Plastic Breakthrough" is a painting I have been thinking about painting for many years. Last year was the year where Norway really opened its eyes to all the plastic pollution. They foud a whale stranded and when they opened its stomach it was found to be full of plastic waste. Plastic invades our fjords, killing our wildlife. This was the final drop, I had to start the painting. In the painting a woman is breaking through the plastic, tearing it up. She is finally breaking free from it.
