Daybreak by John Cosby

After growing up with the ocean and sailing it for many years, it is in my blood. I am always searching for a way to capture the changing mood of this formidable force.
With a storm coming in I painted “Daybreak” in the early morning just as the seas and the weather were building. The light effect set a mood I was able to hold into the finished work.
