This painting was inspired by my trip back home to Taiwan in 2018. It was a quiet night in Tainan, Taiwan. My friend was making tour around the city with me. All the sudden, I was fascinating by these two cats under the green streetlight from this hidden alley.
Wild cats are one of symbol in Taiwan. I group up in a small valley full of wild cats; I remember I used to play with them when I was a kid. Therefore, I decided to do street cats series from my hometown. “Late Night Conversation” is the first piece from this series.
