Born in New Jersey, Loren was classically trained attending, and graduating from, Du Cret School of the Arts, in New Jersey . She also studied at the National Academy of Fine Arts & Design and the Art Students League (NY), where she trained with David Leffel.

Loren resides in North Carolina and is an award winning artist best noted for her bold still life paintings. Loren has participated in numerous one women show and group shows. Her works are included in many important collections across the country.
