Dot Cat sets an enigma. It is a visual puzzle with a hidden message, like those I loved when I was a kid. In Spanish they are called hieroglyphs, a word of Ancient Egypt reminiscences. The title refers to the Internet domain extension for my homeland Catalonia. In my painting, the tomato visually replaces the point, and the cat plays with the double meaning: cat in English, and cat in Catalonia. In turn, the tomato refers to the Fake News, as tomatoes were fully unknown in ancient Egypt. The hieroglyphs at the bottom provide an important clue that I am not going to reveal. All in all, the most amazing thing is the pareidolia that appeared completely unintentionally, fully in line with the hidden message of the artwork. I hope you can experience it.
