Oasis by Bill Farnsworth

While participating “En Plein Air Texas” I had the great opportunity to paint on a ranch near San Angelo. I came across these goats under a tree feeding on the lower branches and anything else they could find. I took a lot of photos that would aid me in the studio along with my field studies. My mental notes where very important because what I recalled of the day was how blue the goats where against the warm sunny grasses. The dappled light bounced like musical notes.
