Waclaw the Mariner

60 × 60 cm | 23 1/2 × 23 1/2 in

Oil on aluminium

The portrait of the polish capitan, transatlantic master mariner, spitsbergen researcher and friend of my grandfather - Waclaw Orzeł. This painting is about a being far from the home, a loneliness, an isolation. Feelings that we probably all have experienced lately.

This painting is a tribute to all those who are commited voluntarily to those feeling for greater good.
