Kaylie Marceca

Kaylie Ames Marceca is a representational painter, born in New York, NY in 1987. Her interest in art began early. As a child, rainy days were often spent at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. She was particularly captivated by the nineteenth-century artwork painted by her great-great grandfather who studied at Académie Julian in Paris. In 2017, she decided to follow in his footsteps and began her formal training at Angel Academy of Art in Florence, Italy, where she has lived ever since.
