Jitrachote White

United Kingdom

I am currently a student at LARA (London Atelier of Representational Art). Prior to pursuing my artistic education, I worked as a NHS hospital doctor.

Born in Thailand and growing up in the UK, I have been exposed to a varied and multicultural art background. I have always been interested in realism from a young age. I decided to pursue formal education after spending some time in Florence and falling in love with the classical tradition and the craftmanship.

My goal is to use my knowledge and experience as a physician and the classical skills I am learning to represent life and to give narrative to my work.

In addition to studying, I work as a self employed artist, accepting commissions including medical illustrations.
