Letter to Fielden 1838

Thursday 12th 1838
My dear Fielden,
I write only to thank you most heartily for your good wishes & to express a hope that I may always deserve the esteem of so honest a man as yourself. As for Jack, his health shall be drunk at Greenwich this night. "as Emma comes home to do him the honor", we shall draw a cork & kill two birds (old ones) with one stone.
Liz & me will be with Mrs. Fielden on Sunday - God willing.
Until then believe me faithfully yours

James Holland
