Stephen Early joined Studio Incamminati at its opening in October of 2002. Complementing his Professional Program studies with Nelson Shanks, he has also studied with affiliated faculty Michael Grimaldi, Anthony Ryder, Robert Liberace, Jon deMartin and Ted Seth Jacobs. He has participated in group exhibitions at the Chauncey Center in Princeton, NJ; the annual Philadelphia Open Studio Tour Exhibition at Studio Incamminati; and the Daylesford Abbey Juried Art Show, Paoli, PA.

In addition to serving on the faculty of Studio Incamminati?s Professional Program, Steve has taught Portfolio Program Classes and the Emerging Young Artists Program. Steve?s teaching experience also includes positions as principal instructor in Nelson Shanks? Intensive and Advanced Painting Workshops at Studio Incamminati; Armory Arts Center Workshops in West Palm Beach, FL; Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts Workshop, and the New York Academy of Fine Arts Workshop. Steve also served as Nelson Shanks? teaching assistant at the Art Students? League in New York, and in 2006, Steve was invited and taught Figure Painting Workshop with Stephen Early in Charlotte, NC.

Among Steve?s notable commissions are the Hon. Judge William Hart Rufe III of Bucks County, PA; Stanley Angelo Sr. and Romolo Angelo of Philadelphia; and Henry Siegel of Moorestown NJ. Steve?s work is included in the Larry and Anne Hall Collection as well as those of the Westinghouse Lighting Corporation, SeaGull Lighting Company, The Abraham Lincoln Foundation, Mr. Joseph Hargrove & Mrs. Carla Servin, and Mr. & Mrs. William Noonan.

Prior to joining Studio Incamminati, Steve worked as an illustrator after receiving his A.S. degree in Commercial Art from the Art Institute of Philadelphia (1982). He completed additional studies at the Art Students League, New York (2002) and the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, Philadelphia (1999).
