"Patience, Cocoons Are Temporary, was an exercise of resting in the present and believing that grace, through difficulty, is rewarded with valuable growth. With her face veiled from view, the subject's emotions are primarily expressed by her folded figure in contrast to the freely flowing fabric, unfurling above her. The invisible gust of wind that embodies her scarf is symbolic of God breathing life into dust, a stirring of hope, and a promise of future wings." - Laura Pritchett
