Joel Edwards

       Joel Edwards renders realism in mediums of pencil, oil, and watercolor. The majority of his artwork depicts physical landscapes and exquisite nature scenes. Upon closer observation, every single brush and pencil stroke that Joel lays down reveals a quiet meditation on his surroundings. The environments Joel portrays show consciousness and contemplation. This sensation is connected to his inner yearning to create. After attending the Art Institute of Dallas, Joel made a career of art in the monument etching and design industry. He committed over eighteen years to preserving the memory of individuals and events that have passed while working with GM Wholesale. Today, Joel still contributes part of his time to the Waco-based monument company.  Joel devotes his remaining time to ascertaining and furthering his wisdom of art. The intent of Joel’s artistic creations is to deliver a message of spiritual truth to the viewer. In his revelations, he seeks to add a sense of tranquility to mundane reality.
