In this self-portrait, I wanted to convey the feeling of suffocation by the plastic wrap, representing societal pressure and expectations. The artwork displays an individual who is feeling trapped and struggling to breathe. The plastic around me is a metaphorical barrier isolating me from the rest of reality. From the subtle gasp for air to the closed eyes, this cinematic-style piece depicts a silent cry for freedom.
