Nathalie Nahai

Spain

Nathalie Nahai is a visual artist and author, currently living in Barcelona, Spain. Having trained in psychology, she studied fine art at Central Saint Martins and later attended Barcelona Academy of Art, where she graduated from the painting program in 2020.

With a background spanning human behaviour, persuasive technology and the arts, Nathalie is interested in how we might draw upon different disciplines to ignite deeper, more generative conversations around the complex questions facing us today.

At a time in which society is becoming increasingly fragmented, and public discourse more fraught, Nathalie’s art seeks to create a space within which the viewer can explore the themes of connection and possibility, rest and refuge. By drawing upon symbolism, gesture and movement, her work is designed to elicit a more embodied experience that collapses the distance between perceiver and painting, inviting the individual to project their own meaning onto each piece.
