Annette Randall’s love for horses and the West is apparent in her detailed and precisely rendered pencil drawings. Largely self-taught, she started drawing horses as a child, eventually developing a drawing technique all her own and later moving on to oils. She now works in both mediums.
A native of northern Utah but with ties to family in western Montana, she maintains friendships with ranchers in both areas, who provide her with the resources and authenticity necessary to create accurate renderings of horses, cowboys, and ranch life.
Annette has received a number of professional awards for her work. She currently resides with her husband in northern Utah’s Cache Valley, where her studio is located.
