Atle Skudal

Atle Skudal was born in Karmøy, Norway, in 1972.Corrently he lives and works in Bergen, Norway .Skudal was taught by Odd Nerdrum from 1997 through 1999 and attended The Florence Academy of Art from 1999 through 2003, spending the last year as a student teacher.He has participated in several international exhibitions and competitions, such as the alumni exhibitions The Florence Avademy of Art.He has twice been a finalist in the still life category of the Art Renewal Center's International ARC Salong and had solo exhibitions in both Norway and the United State. Skudal has work in the Annie and Birger Mowinchel Collection and was included in the exhibition " From Dahl to Dolk "which has been held at the M.K.Ciurlionis National Art Museum, in Kaunas, Lithuania among other locations.He has painted on of the founding fathers of Norwegian 1814 constitution at the Eidsvoll Museum 2014.In addition to oil, the artist works with mezzotints.
