Kevin Thomas

United States

In 1976, Thomas acquired formal training through a scholarship to Parsons School of Design in New York City. Mentoring renown artists, Joe Bowler and Murray Tinkelman encouraged Thomas to focus his art studies within the school's Department of Illustration.

During Thomas’s first year, he was hired by the Metropolitan Museum of Art as an illustrator for the museum’s costume reproduction department. The drawing and painting experience he received from the institutions there attributed greatly to his gaining invaluable direction as an artist.

Since that time, Thomas has continued to create original fine art, illustration and design projects for public and private collections within museums, universities and galleries, exhibiting throughout the United States and internationally.
