Mikel Olazabal was born in 1977, after finishing his studies in Basque University, Spain, he studied in the New York Academy of Art, the Art Student League and under Jacob Collins in the Water Street Studio in Brooklin.
He has received several awards in the ARC Salon Contest since 2012, and a Frist Prize in the 2020 Meam Museum and Club Wagner International Lohengrin Painting Constest. He has paintings in museums like the Meam, Barcelona, and the Museo de Armas from Vitoria, Spain.
