    Theodor Romila is a Romanian born artist. At the moment he is an art student at the Art and Design University of Cluj-Napoca, where he studies Graphics in the first year of the Master degree program.     

          He started to draw at the age of 9 and he has always been interested in developing a hyperrealist style. Recently he started to approach his art subjects from a more conceptualist point of view. He is interested in several psychological, philosophical, theological and scientific topics. In 2020 he studied Visual Art for one semester at the Accademia di Brera, Milano, Italy. His greatest achievement to date was a selection as a finalist in the ModPortrait 2021 contest. He had several exhibitions in Italy, Spain, Bulgaria and Romania.

          His favorite medium is charcoal on paper, although he worked until the last year with the graphite. His other passions are music, reading, riddles, chess and anything that keeps his mind busy. Currently he tries to work on different surfaces with his technique developed after 3 years of experiments.
