27th December, 1905

My dear Levy,
I'm anxious to hear if you have gotten some illness. Perhaps if you are not well (but i hope you are) to let me know. Your daughter was good enough to send me a line. I want to wish you many good years of usefulness. And I sincerely hope that by now you are your old self again. Mr. A.J. Smith sent me some cutting the other day from an American paper. A paper on the hundred and fiftieth anniversary of the Jewish settlement in America (which was) my returning. And I see he's as keen as ever over his Penn project. If I'd found it at all possible I should have called to see or inquire about your. And perhaps if I may, I'll csll some Saturday afternoon at Florence's and have a chat with you.
With my kindest regards and best wishes,

Sincerely yours

Solomon J. Solomon
