Elizabeth Barden is a fine artist with an established studio practice. A highlight in her career has been having her portrait of Christine Anu accepted into the permanent collection of the Australian National Portrait Gallery, Canberra.

Women Painting (All over the world)

On March 8, coinciding with International Women's Day, the MEAM will once again claim the importance of women in the world of contemporary art and culture, through the exhibition 'Women Painting (All over the world) '.

The sample includes 87 works, between painting and drawing, by more than 78 women artists of various origins from 25 different nationalities, such as the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, Spain, Norway, Italy, Ireland, Germany, France, Holland, Russia, Egypt, Mexico, Panama, Venezuela or Chile, among others.

ARC Associate Living Masters Arina Gordienko, Elizabeth Barden, Jaq Grantford, Vicki Sullivan and ARC Living Masters Anna Wypych and Patricia Watwood will be exhibiting.
