Robert Dale Williams (Born 1972) studied classical drawing and painting techniques at the New York Academy of Art Graduate School of Figurative Art. Upon completing a Master of Fine Arts degree with a concentration in painting at the Academy, Williams continued his studies in the studio of the internationally recognized Norwegian painter Odd Nerdrum.
Williams draws his inspiration from nature and a lifelong concern for human rights. His work reveals an unflinching perspective of mankind's capacity for tyranny, and the tragedies of warfare.
An educator of drawing and painting techniques since 2005, Williams has presented classes, lectures, and has authored feature articles on classical figuration. Featured in collections worldwide, Robert Dale Williams has exhibited in Pennsylvania, New York, Germany, Great Britain, Spain, and Norway.
