New Work Added to Live ARC Salon

April 17, 2017

We are pleased to announce that Suzanne by Katie Runde has been added to the 12th International ARC Salon Exhibition.

"Suzanne is a portrait of an individual absorbed, midstream in the art of music. French philosopher Simone Weil said 'Absolute unmixed attention is prayer,' and Suzanne's suspended cello suite is just that, the grace and sincerity of a musician at work, lost in its process. As a musician myself, I have been striving to capture the space of deep solitude and flow that lies between a musician and his or her music." – Katie Runde
The 12th International ARC Salon Exhibition will be on view at the Salmagundi Club, NYC from May 12th – June 1st with the public opening reception on Saturday, May 13th from 11am to 3pm. The works will then travel to the MEAM Museum, Barcelona where they will be on view from September 23rd – November 27th.

This work is also available for sale. For inquiries please contact kara.ross@artrenewal.org.
