New Addition to the Live ARC Salon

| We are pleased to announce that Ju Ju by Jeff Hein has been added to the 12th International ARC Salon Exhibition. | |
| This painting of Ju Ju is a portrait of the artist’s youngest apprentice at age 14. Capturing her intelligence and a sense of seriousness, the artist depicts that point in a girl’s life where she is transforming into a woman. The lighting in this painting is of particular interest, as there are two distinctive light sources; one coming from the sitter’s upper left illuminating her face, and the second from behind her head, causing an earthy halo from man made spot lights to appear around the rim of her hair. The artist accurately captured the sensation of this phenomenon with hot pink, wild, brushstrokes. |  |
| The 12th International ARC Salon Exhibition will be on view at the Salmagundi Club, NYC from May 12th – June 1st with the public opening reception on Saturday, May 13th from 11am to 3pm. The works will then travel to the MEAM Museum, Barcelona where they will be on view from September 23rd – November 27th.
