To Whom It May Concern,
I wished to express gratitude and appreciation for all of your efforts
to renew the classical academic traditions of art. I know that going
against the grain, your institution must be the object of much
persecution from modernist "artists" and wanted to say that your
efforts are greatly appreciated. It is the exact thing that I myself
have longed to do. I also wished to propose a question: I am a
portrait artist who would like an MFA is painting. I have pursued a
free lance career and have done well, but have withheld applying to
graduate schools because of their obvious ties to modernism. Do you
know of any accredited universities offering an MFA, who maintain the
classical academic traditions?
Thank you for your time,
Rob Wilson

Art Renewal,
Thank you, thank you, thank you! It is so wonderful to have such an extensive website dedicated to such beautiful, moving pieces of true wonder. I stumbled upon your website and I have not been able to do anything else for the last three hours!
I have been moved to tears and awe by the beauty, truth and goodness of the art, es specially of Charity by William Bouguereau. I can not thank you enough for creating ArtRenewal.org.
Our world today has become so dull and ugly and we have completely lost our concept of true beauty. We have forgotten the power of art and its ability to move and inspire. But to those of us who are in dire search for truth, goodness and beauty, your website is an oasis.
Thank you,
Susanna L van den Heever

2007 4th ARC Salon Catalogues Available
August 8, 2008
The ARC Salon Catalogues, with their beautiful color reproductions of the ARC International Salon Winners, are eagerly awaited for each year and treasured as collections of today's masters. The 4th Annual ARC Salon proved a difficulty for our judges as the quality was so impressive that their decisions extended weeks past the deadline. The judges decided to include 150 finalists instead of the usual 100, as it was impossible to eliminate any more items, when those remaining were of such high quality. All 150 finalists are represented in this year's catalogue. ARC Chairman, Fred Ross' Keynote Address to the Oil Painters of America, applauded as a definitive analysis of 19th century art history, is included in its entirety.
