ARC Approved™ Andreeva Portrait Academy is excited about the relocation of the Andreeva Portrait Academy to north Austin, in the historic tourist-art community of Salado. Located in the heart of Central Texas and conveniently located less than 200 miles from Texas' major cities (Houston, DFW, San Antonio), APA is now an easy distance for Texas students and a very short drive from the Austin airport. Students taking workshops at APA can now stay in the historic Halley/Carriage House located on-campus at Andreeva Portrait Academy. Most classes in 2009 will be one day (Saturday) or three day workshops. New classes will be announced throughout the year. Continue to check the schedule at http://www.andreevaacademy.com/schedule |

ARC Approved™ Academy of Realist Art Toronto is excited to present a second location in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. ARA Boston opened November 1st, 2008. Cindy MacMillan, one of the first Graduates from the academy in Toronto, is the Senior instructor in Boston: "I am thrilled to be teaching the Academy of Realist Art program in Boston. I remember the excitement I felt when I discovered the Academy program in Toronto 12 years ago. I felt so lucky to be living in a city where I could learn the craftsmanship of the old masters. Over the years I have met many people who have a hunger for this technical knowledge but can't find it where they live. Now it's available in Boston!" "We've got a great loft studio in the Leather District. Although we're starting out small with classes limited to 10 students we don't have small plans. If you want to be a part of this pioneering group of Academy students call (617) 426-3006 to book a tour of the school and learn more about the program or join us for one of our workshops."
