New ARC Living Artist™
December 4, 2012
We would like to introduce our first painter of miniatures, Debra Keirce, to the ARC Museum. Her works are usually 4 x 6 inches or smaller. For their size, they are painted with tremendous detail as most of her works involve compositions containing many different objects. To achieve extreme detail, she uses magnifying lenses while applying the paint. | |
The smaller paintings appeal to Debra because viewers naturally feel compelled to look closer, even view the art through a magnifier. Collectors are intrigued by the level of detail contained in such a compact space. To view her new gallery on ARC click here. |
