In a project close to her heart, she is working with HeartsApart.org and the Heart Galleries, two national nonprofit organizations, to paint portraits of military families for dedicated service men and women who are being deployed oversees and to paint foster children in need of permanent homes. In addition to having given lectures and workshops at The Representational Art Conference, Laguna College of Art and Design, and the Lyme Academy, Richard is the founder of the Berkshire Painting Residency. Hieronymus Bosch – Visions of genius

Hieronymus Bosch is viewed worldwide as the most intriguing and exciting Netherlandish artist of the late Middle Ages. The exhibition includes the lion's share of his surviving paintings and drawings, and is based on the most comprehensive research ever performed into the artist's oeuvre: the Bosch Research and Conservation Project (BRCP). Never before have so many of Bosch's works returned to his home town of 's-Hertogenbosch, where he created them over 500 years ago. The exceptionally large number of works loaned to the exhibition will offer visitors a unique opportunity to study close up the revolutionary and highly imaginative visual language of Hieronymus Bosch. | |
