Skill-Based Art News
Published on June 29, 2020
Emilio Longo, founder and director of Skill-Based Art: A Learning Resource for Art Students & Artist-Teachers, has recently designed a product to commemorate the life and work of the 20th century portrait painter, Pietro Annigoni. A Sketchbook for the Student of Traditional Realism, is an A4, 48-page, toned paper sketchbook that is bound with 100% cotton rag paper that Longo says was developed in the mid 1900s by the 20th century portrait painter, Pietro Annigoni in collaboration with papermakers of the Cartiere Magnani Mill in Italy. Emilio sourced the paper from Italy and the sketchbook was bound and manufactured in Melbourne, Australia.
