ARC Associate Living Master, Tina Garrett, puts it all out there in her first ever solo oil painting show, "Pieces of Me” featuring an intimate look into the unbounded inspiration Tina finds in her wide range of subjects. From nudes to dancers to cowboys, in a vibrant approach to the Rorshcach test, Tina maneuvers into the hearts of her audience. Instead of dictating the meanings of her paintings with written narratives, a title, size, date and price is the only description Tina ever gives her collectors. Instead, the artist delights in the narrative stories provided by the viewers, and in doing so, mines insights into that viewers’ psyche, left in passages viewers leave in public notes on the floor in front of her works and in online commentary, some smoldering, others glowing and all illuminating into the minds and hearts of the people who chose to engage in this fascinating exchange.
