I've encountered a problem that probably many university art students experience. My drawing teacher at OCAD says to the class, "This is your drawing, do what you want." So I'm all excited thinking here's
my chance, so I used my life drawing skills from MJAS. Then all of a sudden she starts getting on my case about how my technique is too "cold" and "detached", and that I think about my technique too much. I'm thinking, "Wait I thought this was MY drawing!" Here's the funny part, 2 weeks earlier, she saw me with my knitting needle for sighting, so she ordered the rest of the class to get one too!
