Grand Intentions

For all the grand intentions, artists must be able to speak very well visually. The finality to perform this first basic task, is that which terminates all grand statements from being made tangible in painting. They die stillborn having only lived in the mind. These unshared mere thoughts are legion. A great work of art resounds with profundity, partly because it is so rare.
