Letter to ARC

Hello, my name is David and I am currently becoming a certified art teacher for schools in Pennsylvania. I wanted to thank you and to let you know that your website has been a valuable asset in many teaching experiences that I have had thus far. I myself have had some academic training with a former instructor of the Florence Academy of Art, and now feel that the Barque drawing course can even be used for young adults in high school. I know many frown upon those who become high school teachers because it is considered to be an easy way out. I just want you to know that I plan to send my most talented students to study at any of the ARC approved ateliers you have listed on your site. I do not want them to have to face the same hardships that I underwent as realist in a modern art based university setting where the craft of drawing is all but a joke. I feel that it is possible to change the current art trends in statewide institutions if there were enough people involved who still believed in traditionalist art. If you have any advice for me or want to respond regardless, it would be most appreciated.

Thanks again,
David Gluck
