Letter to ARC

Published before 2005

I teach art in the Miami-Dade Public Schools on the high school [level] (and college level at Miami-Dade College), and also in the International Baccalaureate program, teaching Art Research and IB Studio 1, 2 and Pre-IB Art 1 & 2. I would like to have permission to use your site as a resource for my classes, which would entail reproducing some of your articles as handouts to students. Copyright law is strictly enforced in our school system, so it is imperative I have your permission before I proceed.

Also, I have an MFA from Pratt Institute, and I know exactly where you are coming from. The idea of an absolute reality and fixed truth and ethics was abhorrent to my instructors, many of whom were firmly entrenched in the modernist debacle. Thanks for this site. It is enabling me to teach what is self-evident : beauty is beautiful, and skill is indispensable.
