Letter to ARC

From

Published before 2005

I studied art in the University setting for a total of 9 years. I have a MFA in art but I now view most of it as a complete waste of time. I feel like I want to start all over. I have had instructors (and students) try to convince me for years that modern art is of value. I always thought I just didn't get it, and I didn't, THANK GOD! Thank you for validating my thought and beliefs about what art is. I will no longer struggle to explain "modern art" to friends and family, but instead give them some examples of what real art is. I have a long way to go to relearn years of lies, but this is a start.

Sincerely,
Linda

Read some of the articles below that inspired Linda to rethink her entire university education:
  • Read the ARC Philosophy.
  • Read the ARC Mission Statement.
  • Read the ARC Chairman's Speech to the Met.
