First, excuse my bad English. Second, a big thanks for the
gift that you gave us with your
beautiful Web-Page. A few years ago I read two art books and appreciate
some of the
pictures I find there, but other I don't understand at all - why are
they so special?
They seem rather ugly to me.
But after my first visit to your site(two years ago) everything changed.
I was totally thrown to the wall. I never saw such beautiful(19th
century academic) art,
and it was the first time, that it not only intellectual interested me,
but also touched my soul.
And this feeling remains up to this day - luckily for me and the art
book publishers :-)
