I began my training at fifteen years old at the Beaux’s-Arts Academy in Provo, Utah. After graduating early from high school, I toured the BAA and knew that Classical Art is what I want to spend my life pursuing. I have enjoyed the privilege of studying under amazing instructors and mentors. I have been there ever since, three years later. I have grown so much in a ton of ways. Tasting the potential of what’s to come just makes me even hungrier for growth.

My current plan of action is to finish the four-year program at the Beaux’s Arts Academy. I have been spending my evenings after class at the BAA at the Masters Academy of Art with Ryan Brown in Springville, Utah. I plan to continue juggling study with both academies, taking in as much practice and information as I can. I want to give myself the widest arsenal to produce beautiful art. I hope to go to New York in a few years to continue my training, and network with galleries to sell my work.

Ultimately, I want to serve a greater purpose in doing something that will move this great art tradition forward. Studying the expressive and spectacular art of the Old Masters has inspired me to spend my life reaching for that standard. My greatest hope would be to create skillful and beautiful figurative art work for the world of today, continually pushing myself to reach some level of mastery possessed by the past.

I began my atelier study at 15 years old, receiving my GED and starting full time at the Beaux’s Arts Academy. Since then, I have received an honorable mention in the ARC’s salon in the Teens Category in 2020, received 3rd place in The Oil Painter’s of America’s student category of their 30th National Juried Exhibition apart of their show at the California Center for the Arts. And won several sketch competitions at the Beaux’s arts Academy. I have also been part time at the Masters Academy of Art studying additionally with Ryan Brown.
