He started out doing illustration work but the later moved to crafting his own ideas by shifting to fine art. In between he briefly worked as a graphic designer. His work is primarily that of \u0027imaginative realism\u0027 (heroic/romantic fantasy and various mythological themes) and over the past decade his work has appeared in art galleries across the continental US. A four-time finalist in the Art Renewal Center\u0026rsquo;s annual Salon competition, several times selected to appear in the Infected By Art (IBA) yearly art annual and three times nominated for the annual Chesley Awards. The artist is a member of Oil Painters of America (OPA), the International Guild of Realism (IGOR) and both organizations have selected his work to be included in regional and/or national exhibitions. His figurative work is currently being represented by La Tazza Piena Fine Art Gallery and the Artexposure gallery\u0026nbsp;in Wilmington, NC. His artistic stylings are influenced by the art of the 19th century and the golden age of illustration\u0026rsquo; in the US. His primary work mediums are oils and graphite.
