Wading In

This painting is part of a series I have titled "Heads Above Water."  It addresses the challenge that women face at various stages in their lives be it discrimination, cancer, or ageism. The water is a metaphor for life whether one is taking the plunge, diving in, or cautiosuly treading the shallows.
