GK Fine Art Atelier is a premier art institution located in the heart of Metro Manila, Mandaluyong City, Philippines. We are dedicated to providing exceptional training in traditional Drawing, Painting, and Sculpture, focusing on building strong classical skills while fostering creativity and artistic expression.

At GK Fine Art Atelier, we offer accredited programs in Drawing and Painting and Sculpture, along with other specialized courses. Our comprehensive curriculum ensures that students develop the technical proficiency and artistic insight required to excel as professional artists. Whether studying in-person or online, students will receive high-quality instruction designed to refine their skills and broaden their artistic horizons.

Our Drawing and Painting and Sculpture programs are structured as 3-year programs, with part-time enrollment available.

Drawing Program

Our Drawing 1 course lays the foundation for artistic development by focusing on the proper proportions and shapes, working on still-life compositions using dry mediums. In Drawing 2, students will learn to draw the human face and portraits, capturing the subtleties of facial features and expression. Figure Drawing 1 focuses on the proper proportions of the human body and its parts, working with non-dynamic poses. As students progress to Figure Drawing 2, they will tackle dynamic poses, refining their understanding of movement and anatomical accuracy.

Painting Program

The Painting Program is designed to help students develop their skills in various painting techniques over the course of 3 years.

Techniques 1 focuses on painting still lifes and sceneries, giving students the foundation for creating realistic and expressive paintings.

Techniques 2 delves deeper into the study of painting human faces and the human figure, building on the skills developed in Drawing 1 and Drawing 2.

Both techniques build on the knowledge and experience from the Drawing program, ensuring that students learn essential skills before moving on to more advanced painting topics.

Sculpture Program

For those pursuing Sculpture, Sculpture 1 introduces the basics of clay sculpting, where students will create bust-size self-portrait sculptures. This course focuses on understanding the human form in three dimensions. As students advance, they will move on to more complex sculptures, progressively building their skills.

Art Business

Our Art Business course prepares students for the entrepreneurial side of the art world, providing them with the knowledge and tools needed to navigate their artistic careers successfully. This course covers key aspects of managing a career in the arts, including marketing, networking, gallery representation, and the financial aspects of being a professional artist.

Digital Art with ICDL Certification

For students interested in digital creation, we offer a Digital Art course that focuses on GIMP, an industry-standard free graphic design software. This course includes ICDL Certification (International Computer Driving License), ensuring that students gain practical skills in digital art and graphic design while obtaining an internationally recognized certification.

Art Conservation and Restoration

We also offer a specialized program in Art Conservation and Restoration. In Art Conservation, students will learn proper conservation techniques and the correct methods for cleaning paintings on canvas, ensuring that artworks are preserved for future generations.
