Face to Face: The Craniofacial Program Portrait Project Exhibition
September 8, 2015
In "Face to Face," artists from Studio Incamminati, School for Contemporary Realist Art, use the intimate process of portrait painting to help young people dealing with the medical and psychological effects of craniofacial conditions. Working with surgeons and psychologists from The Craniofacial Program at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Edwin and Fannie Gray Center for Human Appearance at the University of Pennsylvania, the portrait process has shown a positive impact on the youths' self-image, enhancing their emotional resilience and helping them to see themselves in a more positive light. | |
The exhibition is being held at the Delaware County Community College, 901 Media Line Road, Media, PA and runs from September 9 – October 9, 2015. The reception will take place on Sept 24, 2015 from 4 - 7:30 pm. For more information about this exhibition, please click here. |
