| "Taking inspiration from 19th and 20th century artists such as Anders Zorn, John Singer Sargent, and William Bouguereau, Lipking paints his subjects in natural settings, imbuing the images with life using loose, textured brushwork, well placed touches of contrasting color, and leaving some canvas peeking through.
