Published on August 5, 2021
As much admired as he is controversial, Napoleon Bonaparte is a complex figure. On the occasion of the bicentenary of his death, the Rmn - Grand Palais, La Villette and Re Re / Adonis are offering a spectacular exhibition, providing a true portrait of a fascinating character who has shaped France today.
More than 150 masterpieces created under the Empire on loan from numerous museums are gathered together for the first time. Exceptional objects that belonged to Napoleon and contemporary creations follow one another in a chronological and educational course.
The exhibition runs from May 28 - December 19, 2021 at the Grande Halle de la Villette, 211 Av. Jean Jaurès, 75019 Paris, France.
