Rembrandt – Hoogstraten - Color and Illusion

For the first time, the Kunsthistorisches Museum Vienna will present an exhibition on Rembrandt and his gifted pupil Samuel van Hoogstraten. The exhibition focuses on the use of color in Rembrandt and Hoogstraten work as well as the techniques utilized to create illusions. Around 60 paintings and drawings, many from international loans, will be on display.

The exhibition runs from October 8, 2024 – January 12, 2025 at the Kunsthistorisches Museum Vienna, Maria-Theresien Platz, Vienna 1010 Austria.
