William Morris - Art in Everything
Published on November 21, 2022
Never presented before in France, the work of the visionary William Morris strongly marked his time by theorizing a social, political, ecological and artistic utopia and by laying the foundations of what would later be called Arts & Crafts.
The exhibition presents nearly a hundred works - paintings, drawings, furniture and textiles - from English public collections, in particular the Tate Britain and the Victoria and Albert Museum, but also from French public collections and particularly from the important collection kept at the Musée d'Orsay.
The exhibition runs from 10/8/22 - 1/8/23 at La Piscine, 23 Rue de l'Espérance, Roubaix, 59100 France.
