Open House 2026 at the Academy of Fine Art Germany

Join us on Saturday, May 30th, for our annual Open House event. Experience firsthand how traditional craftsmanship meets contemporary fine art. Explore our studios, meet our talented students and international faculty, view our student exhibition, and participate in free live workshops. Admission is free.

 

Event Highlights & Program:

Outdoor Live Demos (10:00 – 13:00):

Watch our advanced artists at work as they demonstrate the intricacies of Portrait Oil Painting and Portrait Sculpting in the open air.

Free Live Workshops: (10:30 - 11:30 & 12:00 -13:00 & 13:30 - 14:30)

Get hands-on experience and receive professional guidance in our introductory sessions covering Sculpture, Figure Drawing from a Live Model, and Composition Drawing (registration required due to limited space).

Information & Academy Presentation (11:30 & 13:00):

Learn everything about our full-time programs, part-time courses, and the unique educational philosophy of our academy.

Student Exhibition:

Wander through our light-filled studios and discover the impressive, high-caliber final works and trimester projects created by our students.

Live Performance (14:30 – 15:00):

Join us for an inspiring grand finale featuring a dynamic fusion of Dance and Live Performance Drawing.
